We debated whether to publish the following digital art rendering by artist Javier Agustin Velasquez of El Paso, Texas because it may offend some members of the public. The staircase on the montage below leads to the attic where Anne Frank and here family hid in Amsterdam and where she wrote her now famous diary. The title of the rendering is the artist's spoof on a well known book titled "Anne Frank: The diary of a young girl".
Recently a few artists have created "art" of questionable taste that has been exhibited at various museums across the nation. Many of these exhibits have been paid with tax payers money. One notorious piece is of the Blessed Virgin created with elephant dung. Another is a crucifix immersed in a bottle of urine. More recently, in Napa County, Alta California, an artist created figurines of the Pope and Catholic nuns defecating. There is a photograph of the Pope figurine that is being exhibited in the Copia Museum of Food and Wine below the comments we have received.

What on earth is so 'degenerate' about this picture?
I loved the film Dogma - I think it's great to break peoples preconceived beliefs especially religious. Catholicism is as much a joke as Judaism.
I don't totally agree with this artist. This piece border on the edge of porn and we don't like it when they depict our most treasured pieces with disrespect. I don't think that the non-zionist jews,would appreciate this either.
This art is degenerate and lacking in any kind of world view that upholds human sensitive, human existence, love, etc.. It would be at home in Hustler magazine. It is extremely and radically anti woman. In a sense, it can be compared to a snuff-film; after all the degenracy photo exudes has to do with its shallow and fascist treatment of the death of a young woman under the Nazi gestapo. Where is this photo being exhibited or was exhibited? Is there an email where I can write to them?

Mr. Javier Agustin Velasquez' art piece is not as degenerate as the one depicting the Holy Catholic Pope defecating. I saw the figurine at Copia, the food, wine and arts museum in Napa, California. It made me sick.
The Brooklyn Museum once featured a 5-foot-tall photograph of a nude black woman portraying Jesus surrounded by disciples, titled "Yo Mama's Last Supper." I believe that there should be "standards of decency" in the art world and specially when the "art" is being funded by tax dollars.
The Islamic Community's response to irrelligious, offensive art is always that of disgust. Several Islamic organizations protested the portraits of the Virgin Mary with elephant dung in NYC. We are very concerned about the use of public funds to offend the sensitivities of ethnic, racial or religious groups. European folk art has historically been replete with caricatures depicting religious people in the act of defacation. The piece in question is nothing but a quick computer piece-together job of images that provides maximum offense at 7th-grade level humor.
In truth, Muslims disapprove of the use of portraits as art in any form, whether for insult or adoration. There is a better way to express the opinion "priests and nuns are just people" than to make a public display of them answering the call of nature. There is a better way to express adoration for the Mary, mother of Jesus (May Allah be pleased with her) than as a blond-haired, blue-eyed queen of the universe. Likewise, we are offended also by the "Master" works of European a where the great Prophets of Allah are carved into stone and displayed naked in the public square. We do not discriminate between men and women in the discussion of nude portraits. We are offended by both.
La Voz should stay on target with social and political issues, and leave the art world to the artist.
I am not offended by religous jokes or comments but this isn't about religon, it's about a little girl and her family who were forced to go into hiding, a little girl who was murdered by a bunch of hate mongers.
It wasn't witty, or ground breaking or even provocative it was just sad. you can have a dislike for anyone you want, I understand Jews aren't the most loved peoples on the planet still this is making lite of a little girl who was murdered.
Regardless of race, religon, and creed Human life is precious, suffering because of who you are, what skin color you have isn't ok or right and the tragic thing is he should know better.
Again, this isn't mocking faith, it's mocking a little girl's pain.
I don't look at the holocaust, on prison camps as funny or "they got theirs" things of that nature make me sick.
For some strange reason that has to do with their ancient semi-pagan religion of their god Molloch - requiring sacrifices of children and animals - before Jesus changed it all to an understanding religion of love for all and forgiveness (which the old semi-pagans do not accept), the Jews always accepted and enjoyed homosexuality, other deviant forms of sex, pornography, obscenity, and deriding the beliefs of all others, whom they called goyim - lesser than beasts.
Perhaps because they don't believe that women are important (Read a Jewish book, "A Price Below Rubies" - Jewish Women as Rebels and Radicals - by Naomi Shepherd, Harvard University Press, 1993, ISBN 0-674-70411-8), through the centuries they have desecrated them, and particularly the Virgin Mary, and have created every form of decadent "art" and behavior that the rest of the world - us poor, worthless "goyim" - despise. Today they produce 95% of pornography in this country, as they have done in the past all over the world.
The German Nazis called that art "Entarte Kunst" (degenerate art) and they substituted it for wholesome, familiar scenes which could be seen and enjoyed by all (normal) people. After all, degeneracy is abnormality, not fit for man or beast. There are no "homosexual animals" in the world. This, like all other forms of deviant behavior we find in the Media and now in the Internet, is not only wrong, but absurd. There were five classes of "genders" by Clinton's definition: Man, woman, homosexual, lesbian, and transvestite. Now I suppose we will have to include the newer forms of "genderness": Sadist, masochist, urine lover ("golden"), incest lover (Hollywood has been pushing for this now for several years, with MTV and HBO at the forefront, as well as Eisner), and now the latest: feces eater... Cubans have an apt name for that: Comemierda. Well, the time has come for those reviled "comemierdas" to become fashionable... Probably the latest "gender" with their own "community", like the other queer people that have absurd "lifestyle choices".
Maybe the time has come to state unequivocally that the Jewish Media lies when it promotes the deviancy's they love; that "self-respecting", "proud" homosexuals have on an average 105 different lovers per year... that some keep to their mates as the propaganda tells us, but that the majority, particularly the young ones, go to the bath houses, naked with their towel around them, which they take off when they jump into the large tubs where they have sex with several other "self-respecting" citizens in the course of less than an hour - I believe eight times on the average, with people they don't even know. Last year, there was a widely circulated report from a branch of the AMA all over the Internet, which not once did I see it referred to in the Media. It stated such things as the greatly reduced life expectancy of "gay people" (both sexes, less for men), the much higher rates of violence among their "community", their much higher rates of abusing children for sex, rapes, drugs (which were becoming endemic among the younger ones), and other "goodies" which the Media normally reserves for us the poor "goyim".
That Jews favor homosexuality above all others was made plain when a few years ago they chose as their national jewish representative, the same man who had been leading the Florida fight for the approval of the "homosexual lifestyle", whose last name was also something like Kunst... The goyim would have never done that, but again, what do we know? We are lesser than beasts... (Talmud, several cites)
I think it is beautiful. That does not mean everyone HAS to like it. Big deal if they don't. Big deal if they do. So what?
Chairman Mao once said during the totalitarian Cultural Revolution " All art is a political statement ". At the time that was denounced in the West as the narrow view of a demi-god. Now however, it seems the conservative element at least in the West see eye to eye with " The Great Helmsman " on this issue!
