The incident has pretty much gone under the radar due to the nature of the biased Arizona channels of communication. The Arizona media plays down any racial crime committed against Mexican-Americans and other Latinos by Whites but overly exaggerates the opposite. One example is the vicious murder of 9 year old Brisenia Flores and her father Raul in Arivaca, Arizona last year by street prostitute Shawna Forde and serial killer Jason Bush of the Minutemen Civil Defense organization.
The home invasion and murder of the Flores family members by the Minutemen vigilantes has not been given the proper attention that it deserves in the media whereas the recent death near Douglas, Arizona of a rancher named Rob Krentz by an unknown assailant or assailants has been blown out of proportion. The Rob Krentz murder has been blamed on "illegal aliens" even though there is no evidence of this and in fact sheriff authorities now believe that Mr. Krentz was shot by an acquaintance. The Krentz murder was exploited by Arizona racists to justify passage of SB 1070.
Latino neighbors of Gary Thomas Kelley have lived in fear of him for years because of his anti-Mexican bigotry. Gary Thomas Kelley is a typical Arizona redneck that carry guns, hate and continually harass and threaten Latinos. Because of the state's violent culture, it has attracted many racists and White supremacists from throughout the USA. The child murderess Shawna Forde and serial killer Jason Bush came to Arizona from Washington state and the 'Tombstone Vigilante' Chris Simcox as well as Glenn Spencer came to Arizona from Los Angeles.
The Phoenix police have arrested Gary Thomas Kelley and he was booked at the Maricopa County jail. Shawna Forde and Jason Bush are in a Tucson jail awaiting trial.
