Los Angeles, California- - Brown Beret Agustin Cebada of the Organization for the Liberation of Aztlan (OLA) questioned Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan recently about the ongoing Los Angeles Police Corruption Scandal investigation involving the framing, torture and false imprisonment of hundreds of Chicano youths. OLA, the Brown Berets de Aztlan as well as the BBNO Incorporated plan to participate in the massive demonstrations at the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles scheduled for August 14-17. Mr. Cebada is wearing a "Free Ramsey Muņiz" t-shirt. Ramsey is another victim of the racist and corrupt U.S. law enforcement and judicial system. Political prisoner Ramsey "Tezcatlipoca" Muņiz, a Baylor Law School graduate and candidate for governor of Texas under La Raza Unida Party, was framed by the DEA and is presently imprisoned for life without the possibility of parole and has been in solitary confinement for most of his incarceration.
"There is a time when the operation of the machine
becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart,
that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part,
and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels,
upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop.
And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it,
that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!"
