a "Judas" says Cuba

Los Angeles, Alta California - 3/28/2002 - (ACN) The warm friendship that Mexico and Cuba have enjoyed for decades is being threatened by the actions of one man, Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Relations Jorge Castañeda Gutman. The Cuban national newspaper "Granma" has released information that Jorge Gutman was behind the recent takeover, in Habana, Cuba, of the Mexican Embassy by Cuban dissidents tied to the Miami Cuban exiled community. In addition, "Granma" accuses the mercurial Mexican secretary of Jewish descent of masterminding a Machiavellian scheme to oust Fidel Castro from the recent "International Conference on Finance for Development" in Monterrey, Mexico at the request of Colin Powell of the U.S. Department of State. Thirdly, "Granma" accuses Jorge Castañeda Gutman of "Judas" like behavior concerning his plans, in connivance with the U.S. State Department, to have Mexico, Argentina and some other Latin American country present a draft resolution condemning Cuba at the upcoming United Nations Human Rights Commission meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.
This is not the first time that pro-Zionist Castañeda Gutman has gone against the interests of Mexico as Secretary of Foreign Relations. Gutman completely sabotaged Mexico's role in last year's United Nations Conference on Racism in South Africa when an important vote to equate Zionism with racism was being considered. Gutman has, in the past, angered both houses of the Mexican Congress and its leaders have asked for his resignation. He has been accused by Mexican congressional leaders of "entreguismo" or of "selling out" to the U.S Bush administration. There have been numerous commentaries, editorials, opinions and political cartoons in the independent Mexican news media depicting Gutman as a "little puppet" of the United States. Jorge Castañeda Gutman is a product of U.S. ivy league universities both as a student and as a professor. He has solid Zionist U.S. university ties including a close relationship with the Jewish President of Harvard and former World Bank and International Monetary Fund official Lawrence H. Summers. After Easter Week, it is expected that Gutman will be called again to explain his recent actions before a joint Mexican congressional committee. There have already been numerous official requests to President Vicente Fox that he replace Gutman with someone else that would be loyal to Mexico.
The Cuban government blamed Jorge Castañeda Gutman of inciting Cuban dissidents to storm the Mexican Embassy building in Habana, Cuba on February 26 during a ceremony to open the Mexican Cultural Institute in Miami, Florida. During the ceremony Gutman said, “This cultural institute is for all Mexicans, for all Latin Americans and of course, for all Cuban-Americans” but then he added, “The doors of the Mexican Embassy in Havana are open to all Cuban citizens, as is Mexico”. In attendance were, according to Granma, "Jorge Mas Santos and other ringleaders of the so-called Cuban American National Foundation, as well as many other terrorists, were there as guests of honor". The next day, February 27, the official U.S. government radio station closely associated with the Miami exiled community continuously broadcast Gutman's words to Cuba. They broadcast Gutman's words: “The doors of the Mexican embassy are open to all Cubans” over and over with insinuations that Mexico had broken ties with Cuba. Cuba says this was what caused the incident at the embassy. During the night, hundreds of antisocial Cubans tried to break into the Mexican Embassy. A bus crashed at full speed into the gates. Only 21 managed to get in. Of those arrested more than 50 percent had a criminal record or had received police warnings for criminal activities according to "Granma".
The attempted ouster of Fidel Castro from the "International Conference on Finance for Development" in Monterrey, Mexico was also engineered by Jorge Castañeda Gutman according to the newspaper Granma. President Fidel Castro's attendance at the conference had already been discussed with President Vicente Fox during his visit to Cuba and before George W. Bush expressed to Jorge Castañeda Gutman that he did not want to be in the same room with the Cuban president. President Fidel Castro had also received an official invitation by the United Nations. This is when, according to Granma, Gutman pulled a devilish scheme against the Cuban president. Granma says that Cuba has proof of the machinations of the Mexican secretary of Jewish descent but has not yet made it public. Cuba, through Granma, has said that this information could be potentially harmful to the Mexican nation. What sort of intelligence information Cuba has against Gutman is unknown, however, they have released photographs of a young Jorge Castañeda Gutman in olive military fatigues, porting a full beard and an assault rifle. The pictures show Jorge Castañeda Gutman with a Cuban revolutionary leader somewhere in Cuba.
Perhaps the Cubans know something about Gutman that neither the Mexican nor the American public know. The significance of the photos is yet to be determined. Is this why the Cubans are referring to Gutman as a "Judas"? Hopefully we will know soon.
Cuba is also concerned that Gutman is leading an effort to have Cuba condemned at the next United Nations Human Rights Commission meeting that will take place in Geneva, Switzerland. Granma accuses Gutman of already lining up the President of Argentina Eduardo Duhalde. According to Granma, Gutman has had a series of meetings with leaders of the exiled Cuban community in Miami, Florida and that he is working with them to line up a third Latin American country.
Granma also accuses Gutman of being a renegade. The official government publication writes, "In his youth he requested and even received military training, so he could support the guerrilla movement in Central America. Today, however, he has become an instrument of the imperialist plans against Cuba, more out of ambition and vanity than due to hatred or an ideology, which he has never had nor will ever have."
Cuba is appealing to the honor of Mexico. Granma writes that, " somehow such insults and aggressions against the Cuban people must come to an end. Cuba should not be forced to show the evidence it possesses. We are aware that governments come and go but peoples remain. Still, we wish to maintain normal relations with the Mexican Government and not to cause even the slightest damage to President Fox’s authority and prestige at a time when serious human and economic problems are awaiting a solution, on which depends the fate of millions of Mexicans who live illegally in lands snatched from their country. Hundreds of these people die every year crossing and re-crossing borders, or they must refrain from seeing their loved ones, and suffer discrimination and the violation of their most basic human rights."
Granma concludes, "All we are asking for is an end to Mr. Castañeda’s provocation, insults, lies and evil plans against Cuba. Otherwise we shall have no alternative but to make public that which we have not wished to make public and tear to pieces his false and cynical statements, no matter what the cost. And let no one doubt it!"
There is now no doubt that Jorge Castañeda Gutman is part of the overall globalist agenda and that he is now working for George W. Bush and not the Mexican people. Who is President Vicente Fox working for? Will President Fox replace Gutman before he destroys Mexico's long friendship with Cuba? Can the Mexican Congress force the resignation of Gutman? These questions will be answered in the next couple of weeks.
