Re: Congressional Hispanic Caucus Monitoring Project

Estimada Raza de Aztlan and other subscribers:

La Voz de Aztlan is happy to announce our "Congressional Hispanic Caucus Monitoring Project". Our publication is based in Los Angeles County where four of the eighteen members of the caucus reside and we know, all too well, that these four congressional representatives are not representing the interests of our decent and honest members of La Raza. A perfect case in point is Representative Xavier Becerra who recently took $25,000 dollars from the father of the notorious crack cocaine dealer Carlos Vignali for very questionable lobbying services with the corrupt ex-president Bill Clinton in the scandal known as "Pardon-Gate".

Our community is in much need to closely monitor the activities of these so called government representatives. We need to know who they are really working for because they are certainly not working for us. We need to know where they are getting their campaign money and how they are voting on certain issues before the Congress.

We have compiled a full list of the members above so that we can better target them through the monitoring of their total activities. They need to be held accountable by those like us who have the means because most members of our community do not know how to do it.

As you can see from the list above, all eighteen belong to the Democratic Party. Six(6) are from California, five(5) are from Texas, two(2) are from New York, one(1) is from Arizona, one(1) is from Illinois, one(1) is from New Jersey and one(1) each from the non-voting possessions of Puerto Rico and Guam. At least thirteen of the eighteen are of Mexican descent.

La Voz de Aztlan is familiar with the California Hispanic congressional delegation which includes the four from Los Angeles County, one from Orange County and one from San Bernardino County. All six are from Southern California. La Voz de Aztlan has acquired many subscribers from throughout the United States who are based at universities, government and with national organizations. We need your assistance in monitoring those Hispanic congressional representatives that may live in your areas.

One area of present concern is how much money these congressional representatives are getting from the Pro-Zionist Jewish Lobby and how they are voting on military aid to Israel. We are also interested in knowing how, historically, these representatives have voted on issues in Congress that have contributed to the holocaust against the Palestinian people in the Holy Land. La Raza wants to hold them accountable on these issues because we believe that a vote to continue the genocidal policies against the Palestinians is a vote against La Raza de Aztlan. We are specially seeking the assistance of our new found friends in the U.S. Arab community, Christian community and those others outside our community who have communicated solidarity with us on this human rights issue.

Our publisher Hector Carreon has appointed me to coordinate the project on behalf of our publication. I plan to write some hard hitting articles and editorials. Please communicate with me personally on this matter. My personal e-mail address is Ernesto.Cienfuegos@Aztlan.Net
