The need for an International Commission on 9-11
(ACN) There is now a large and growing body of evidence that refutes the findings of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (also known as the 9-11 Commission). That commission was created by U.S. congressional legislation and the signature of President George W. Bush in 2002 and was chartered to prepare a full and complete report on the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The 9-11 Commission however, was not independent and produced a report that the majority of Americans are now questioning. The commission failed to evaluate some of the most problematic evidence that would have led to conclusions not beneficial to certain very powerful elements in American society. As a result, the commission's final report left many critical questions unanswered.
In August of 2006 the news media reported on a Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll that found that "more than a third of the American public suspects that federal officials assisted in the 9/11 terrorist attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could go to war in the Middle East". Also, it has been reported that "around 75 top professors and leading scientists believe the 911 attacks were puppeteered by war mongers in the White House to justify the invasion and the occupation of oil-rich Arab countries". This group is organized as the "9/11 Scholars for Truth" and its membership includes leading scientists and experts from universities across the US. In addition, there is now a growing number of elected officials and celebrities that are questioning the version of the 911 events as reported by the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States.
The widespread skepticism in the USA and around the globe concerning the "official" explanation of the 911 attacks points to the need of establishing a truly independent International Commission on 9-11. A new investigation and study of all the evidence needs to be accomplished by experts and scholars at an international level. There are already a large number of brilliant researchers in the USA and other countries who have uncovered a large body of very troubling evidence and who have made this evidence available to the general public through the Internet, videos and books. There is a need to sort and compile all of the evidence and publish it in an International Commission on 9-11 Report.
A preliminary analysis of what is required to establish an International Commission on 9-11 is as follows:
1. A staff of around 35-40 people with about 1/3 involved in mainly security (keeping the computer files secure and safe from infiltration).
2. A budget for salaries for one year.
3. A budget for computers, offices, travel expenses, etc.
4. A budget to be used to continue debunking disinformation.
5. Incorporating as a non-profit or seeking the sponsorship of an established national government.
