Los Angeles, Alta California - January 17, 2007 - (ACN) Iranian lawmaker Seyed Nezam Hoveizeh reported yesterday that their armed forces shot down a US spy drone attempting to cross their border. Seyed Nezam Hoveizeh said that the US has been sending a significant number of spy drones recently, possibly in preparation for an attack. The pilotless drone was shot down by a sophisticated ground-to-air missile that was supplied by Russia, said Seyed Nezam Hoveizeh

There has been a number of threats and actions against Iran by the USA and Zionist Israel lately. Israeli military officials reported in the Zionist press that they are ready to bomb Iranian nuclear energy research facilities with US supplied "bunker busters" that they can fit with tactical nuclear devices. On January 11, US occupation troops in Iraq raided Iran's consulate in Erbil detaining five of their diplomats and confiscating their computers and documents.

On Tuesday, Commander Kevin Aandahl of the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet announced that a second U.S. aircraft nuclear-powered carrier, the USS John C. Stennis, will be deployed against Iran. The USS John C. Stennis will be joining the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and an air wing of more than 80 tactical aircraft. Both the Stennis and the Eisenhower are escorted by a number of nuclear submarines. One submarine, the USS Newport News, attached to the Eisenhower, collided with a Japanese oil tanker on January 8th near the Straits of Hormuz.

The shooting down of the US spy plane over Iranian air space may just be the "first shot" in a upcoming horrific war that will threaten the whole world. Iran has been beefing up its defenses and with the US in a quagmire in Iraq, an attack upon Iran by the USA and/or Israel may end up in the much prophesied "War of Armageddon". We could see Russia, China, Islam and most of Latin America all united against the USA and Zionist Israel. The US has fewer and fewer friends around the world.
