Among Top WWW Sites
The World Wide Web site ranking service Alexa.Com has ranked "La Voz de Aztlan" among the top sites on the Internet. With hundreds of millions of websites now on the WWW, La Voz de Aztlan was ranked 94,442, beating out most other Hispanic, Latino, Chicano and Mexican-American websites in popularity.
La Voz de Aztlan is continuing blazing the way for Mexican-Americans and other Latinos on the WWW at a time when this community has recorded the fastest growth in online subscribers.
Alexa.Com utilizes a unique technology to rank websites. They measure the total traffic to a website from visitors worldwide, the number of other websites that link the website, the number of times that the website is searched for on principal search engines and the frequency that other sites mention the website. A web search on the popular "Google" search engine with terms such as "La Voz de Aztlan", "Aztlan", the names of the writers, or titles of articles will bring up dozens of webpages. Alexa.Com counted 149 total websites that are linking La Voz de Aztlan.
