Mayor Villaraigosa falsely tied to Al-Qaeda

Los Angeles, Alta California - September 22, 2006 - (ACN) A Los Angeles Unified School District elementary school continues to be the victim of nativist racist attacks. The kindergarten through 8th grade charter school located in the El Sereno community of Los Angeles serves predominantly children of Mexican descent and has recently been threaten with arson and a bomb terrorist attack. A few weeks ago the school had to be evacuated when a terrorist telephoned the school with a bomb threat.

Video - The Aztec Al-Qaeda Brook Young (aka "Immigrant Watch Dog") is a propagandist for anti-immigrant organizations. He is often seen with a video camera at Home Depots where Mexican day laborers gather for work and at pro-immigrant rallies in Southern California. A few months ago the North County Health Services, a medical service that serves Mexican agricultural workers in North San Diego County, filed for a restraining order against Brook Young in a San Diego Superior Court alleging Young was harrassing the health service staff.

The situation has now escalated. The school's principal Marcos Aguilar has received death threats and he as well as Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa have been falsely linked by a video circulating on the Internet to Al-Qaeda and to Juan Manuel Alvarez who is accused of derailing a train in Glendale on January of 2005. The video entitled "The Aztec Al-Qaeda" can be viewed below.

To make things worse, the Los Angeles Police Department has failed to diligently investigate the arson and bomb threats but instead focused and arrested a parent yesterday who confiscated a tape from a KABC radio reporter who was creating a nuisance at the school some weeks ago. The Walt Disney radio station KABC has been broadcasting very negative and racist publicity against "Academia Semillas del Pueblo" which this reporter believes has contributed greatly to the nativist threats and other attacks. The parent has been arrested and charged with assault and robbery. A bail amount of $80,000 was set It is not known if the arrested parent is the same person who voiced a complaint at a FCC commissioner's hearing at USC recently against KABC radio. It is possible that the parent arrested may have thought that the KABC reporter was a child predator photographing the children and that is why he ran him off the campus.

The video below against Mayor Villaraigosa and Principal Aguilar is pure anti-Mexican propaganda. It is a perfect example of the xenophobic, ethnocentric and racist attitudes that permeate white society in the USA. There is unseen but deep rooted complicity between anti-immigrant organizations, KABC radio and the LAPD. The most sinister is that of the LAPD who has ignored the arson and bomb threats against the school. La Voz de Aztlan contacted the LAPD concerning an arson threat we received against "Academia Semillas del Pueblo" but it was ignored. It is possible that this same person is the terrorist that phoned in the bomb threat against the school.
