The 'Mexican-American War' has not ended
Most historians will tell you that the 'Mexican-American War' ended on February 2, 1848 with the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo at the altar of the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City (Tenochtitlan). This so called 'treaty, was signed under extreme duress by the following three Mexican traitors who in reality had no official authority: Luis Cuevas, Bernardo Couto and Miguel Atristain. It was signed while Mexico City was being occupied by the US army. Today, no informed Mexican, on either side of the present border, recognizes the legitimacy of this "shotgun treaty" and considers the entire US Southwest (Aztlan) to be stolen land.
As a consequence of the 1839 westward imperialist expansion by Anglo-Saxons and other White European settlers that was fueled by the diabolical and racist notion called Manifest Destiny, the Republic of Mexico ended up losing over half of its territory. Manifest Destiny was utilised to justify the massacre of many native American Indian tribes and to rob Mexico of Alta California, Tejas, Nuevo Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and parts of Colorado and Wyoming. Manifest Destiny was the evil concept held by racist expansionists that God had given Whites the right to conquer and "civilized" the Mexican and Indian "savages" in order for them to establish a nation from coast to coast. It is exactly the same Satanic ideology that European Ashkenazis Zionist Jews are using to dispossess native Palestinians of their territory in the Holy Land.
In the year 2010, the very same factors that propelled the racist aggression against Mexicans in 1848, are still at play and escalating. Their war against us never concluded. As our numbers and educational levels have increased and as we become increasingly politically empowered, the English speaking invaders are becoming more and more worried. They are now resorting to desperate measures to maintain control over us. They are passing racist laws designed to decrease our population as in Arizona. They are now passing laws to eliminate the teaching of the true history of our people like what they are presently doing at the Tucson Unified School District. There, they are now proposing to outlaw and ban certain books that open the minds of our students to the realities we face.
In Alta California, things are no better. Presently, White racists are clamoring for the dismissal of a Mexican-American Assistant Principal at Live Oak High School in the town of Morgan Hill. What was Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez' crime? Mr. Rodriguez simply dared to protect Mexican-American students during a Cinco de Mayo celebration at the school when a group of White juvenile delinquents wanted to start a fight. The White student agitators, wearing USA patriotic paraphernalia, were yelling, "Mexico sucks" at the Mexican-American students during this special day that honors Mexican heritage. This is just one example of the widespread disrespect that English speaking occupiers of Aztlan often exhibit towards the native Mexican population. This sort of obscene behavior is designed to keep Mexican-Americans subjugated and to perpetuate the occupation of Aztlan.
Another ugly example of attacks against Mexican-American educators just occurred in Los Angeles. Last week, a group of vile bigots dug up a video of an eloquent speech delivered in 2007 at the University of California at Los Angeles by, the now teacher at the Los Angeles Unified School District, Ron Gochez. Mr. Gochez is a much respected teacher of Social Justice but apparently the English speaking invaders and occupiers of Aztlan did not appreciate the truth he had to say. Mr. Gochez, in his speech, essentially outlined the nature of the occupation of our land by the "frail White" settlers and goes on to say what will be the consequences of such continued occupation in terms of the Latin American/USA dichotomy. The racist and ignorant commentary in the Los Angeles area concerning the 2007 speech has been endless, especially on radio KFI 640 by two extremely bigoted buffoons named "Ken and John." Ken and John, which most Mexicans suspect are two 'maricones' living together, recently held their radio show in Phoenix, Arizona and as honored guests they featured the vile anti-Mexican bigot Sheriff Joe Arpaio of "pink panties fame" and the Nazi author of SB 1070, which legalizes the profiling of Mexicans, Senator Russell Pearce. It is time for Los Angeles to dump these two racist clowns off the airwaves! Boycott their advertisers!
Ron Gochez, in the above video, makes some excellent points. One thing he did not mention; in addition to uniting with the rising political movements of our brothers in South America, is also to unite with the Islamic nations that are suffering from the same oppression meted out by the White colonialist and imperialist interests, such as Iran, Palestine and others. We must understand that as the US capitalist corrupt economy continues its downward spiral, the White bigots will blame us for it. They have a history of being extremely brutal and vicious and we must be prepared to defend ourselves. In addition, we must focus on changing the misguided policies of the Mexican government concerning the so-called war on drugs. President Calderon has caused the slaughter of tens of thousands of Mexicans for a pittance in gringo dollars. He is not being shrewd in how to handle the problem. Drug addiction is a USA problem and President Calderon should take advantage of it for the benefit of Mexico and Aztlan.
