President Vicente Fox with Tribuna IsraelitaLos Angeles, Alta California - August 17, 2001- (ACN) The new Mexican government of Vicente Fox Quesada is so far silent on the issue of equating Zionism with racism that may explode on the world scene at the upcoming "United Nations World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance". The conference will take place in Durban, South Africa, from 31 August to 7 September 2001. There are three possible reasons for Mexico's unnerving silence on one of the most critical issue facing the modern world.

The first reason may be that Mexico got a real beating by the International Zionists the first time it decided to vote in favor of a U.N. resolution that equated Zionism with racism back on November 10, 1975. The U.N. Security Council Resolution 3379 concluded that "...Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination" and Mexico was one of seventy two countries that voted to pass the resolution. There were thirty five no votes and thirty two abstentions. The resolution infuriated the World Jewry and they embarked on a campaign to rescind the resolution. Attesting to their international hold on the world economy and international political power, they where able to subjugate the economies of many of the countries that voted in favor of U.N. Resolution 3379. With Mexico, they were able to bring their tourism industry to its knees. Acapulco and Cancun became virtual "ghost towns". On December 16, 1991, the United Nations was forced to have a new vote and Resolution 3379 was rescinded.

Secretary of Foreign Relations Jorge Castaneda GutmanThe second reason may be that the newly appointed Secretary of Foreign Relations Jorge G. Castañeda Gutman is himself a Jew. Like many high level U.S. government elected and appointed officials of Jewish descent who hold allegiance to Israel, it may be that Foreign Secretary Castañeda Gutman may be instructing his United Nations ambassador to downplay the issue. So far, Mexico's Department of Foreign Relations has held only one very minor conference in preparation for the "World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance". The minor conference was led by Foreign Relations Under Secretary Miguel Marín Bosch who himself is of Jewish descent. The minor conference that was held on June 15, 2001 in Mexico City failed to address the "Zionism equals Racism" issue.

The third and final reason may be "fear" held by President Vicente Fox of the powerful Internationalist Zionists. President Fox, however, is a Roman Catholic and is known to possess the highly honored Mexican qualities of courage and bravery. He is from the Mexican state of Guanajuato where men are "hombres valientes" and not known to coward before anyone. Most likely the reason is his desire not to antagonize the Jews because this could jeopardize his overall plan to bring Mexico to world prominence. President Fox has expressed desire to include Mexico as member of the United Nations Security Council in 2002-2003 and may not want to confront the Zionists at this time.

Israeli Secretary of Foreign Relations Shimon Peres - President Vicente Fox - President George BushThere is a very powerful and wealthy Jewish community in Mexico. They number about 50, 000 and reside mostly in Mexico City. About 10,000 of these reside in Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tijuana. The principal Mexican Jewish organization is the Comité Central de la Comunidad Judía de México (CCCJM). The CCCJM has a very influential "think tank" called Tribuna Israelita. Attesting to the International Zionist connections, the Tribuna Israelita recently arranged for President Vicente Fox to speak before one of the most powerful Zionist organizations in the world in Washington D.C. where President George Bush was also a guest speaker. On May 3, 2001, President Fox and a delegation of Mexican Jews were honored guests at the annual American Jewish Committee meeting at the U.S. national capital. President Fox addressed an audience that also included Israel's Minister of Foreign Relations Shimon Peres and a host of other Zionist dignitaries. President Fox was accompanied by a few Jews in his cabinet that included Jorge G. Castañeda Gutman, Secretary of Foreign Reactions; Víctor Lichtinger, Secretary of the Environment; Julio Frenk, Secretary of Health and Santiago Levy, Director of Social Security. Other Mexican Jewish dignitaries attending were Enrique Krauze, Adela Micha, Arturo Ripstein, Abraham Zabludovsky, Isaac Saba, Alfredo Archer, Flor Berenguer, Jaime García Bic and Carlos Alazraki.

The above is some of the background behind why, possibly, Mexico is keeping so quiet on the Zionism is racism issue that may erupt like a volcano in Durban, South Africa later this month. The United States says it may boycott the conference. The world and La Raza de Aztlan, meanwhile, waits to see what Mexico and the U.S will do next on the issue of Zionism and its affects on the ongoing Palestinian holocaust in the Holy Land. Will Zionist money and influence dictate what these two neighboring countries will do or will universal precepts of justice and what is morally right be the guide? At this point only God knows.
