Anti-immigrant groups have seized upon the New York and Washington terrorist attacks to push for re-militarizing the US/Mexico border. On Tuesday September 25, 2001 the House of Representatives voted in favor of a plan to place the U.S. Army and other armed military personnel along the 2000 mile stretch that separates the United States from Mexico. The U.S. Armed Forces had been stopped from acting as the U.S Border Patrol after armed troops shot and killed 18-year-old Ezequiel Hernandez in Texas. Ezequiel Hernandez was a a U.S. citizen who was tending his sheep on his family's farm when U.S. Armed Forces shot him in the back.

This is a land of immigrants from all over the world and we must not allow the few "white European based" and Jewish groups determine our immigration policies. There is no doubt, judging from these group's prior statements, that they want to keep the United States "lily white". These people fear those who are not white or who's native language is other than English. They are very ethnocentric and are the cause of why the world hates America so much. These anti-Mexican and anti-immigrant groups where once called "The Ugly Americans" and their historical policies towards the rest of the world is what caused the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Penatgon.
