Rupert Murdoch is "TOXIC" to Blacks, Latinos, and Native Americans

The abominable cartoon that Rupert Murdoch's newspaper published depicting President Barack Obama as "a monkey shot in the chest by two White cops" is not the first time that he has utilized his vast media empire to cause great harm to racial and ethnic minorities in the USA.

Rupert Murdoch, born in Australia and a descendant of the wealthy Sherson Jewish family, made his first media acquisition in the United States in 1973 when he purchased the San Antonio Express-News. Three years later he purchased the New York Post which published the shocking cartoon depicting President Obama as a chimpanzee on February 18, 2009. The cartoon, which can be viewed at http://www.aztlan.net/obama_as_a_chimp.htm , has been called virulently racist by a variety of national civil rights organizations.

On September 4, 1985, Rupert Murdoch became a naturalized citizen in order to go around the FCC legal requirement that only US citizens are permitted to own American television and radio stations. Soon after, Rupert Murdoch, through News Corporation of New York, took possession and control of a vast network of television and radio stations including the Fox News Channel. Today, the Murdoch media empire functions like a monstrous "Goebbels like" propaganda machine reaching millions of Americans. The impact on US society has been tremendous and has negatively affected attitudes on race, religion, and politics.

The Murdoch propaganda machine has victimized not just Blacks but Latinos and Native Americans as well. On February 5, 2005, La Voz de Aztlan published a report entitled, "The Scalping of Cherokee Indian Ward Churchill" which outlines how the Murdoch media empire launched a vicious attack against a professor of American Indian Studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The victim was the scholar and eminent Cherokee Indian intellectual Ward Churchill. The unrelenting attack on Professor Ward was carried out by the Fox News Channel lackey Bill O'Reilly and culminated in the professor losing his academic position of Chairman of American Indian Studies at the university. The Rupert Murdoch propaganda machine has also caused great harm to the Mexican-American community of Alta California. In October of 2003 Latinos had a great opportunity to elect the first governor of Mexican descent since Pio Pico. This opportunity existed until the Murdoch propaganda machine started a vicious attack against candidate Cruz Bustamante, the then Lieutenant Governor of the state. Cruz Bustamante, a Mexican-American, found his political career in shambles after the election and after Rupert Murdoch, through his lackeys, launched their propaganda attacks. The strategy was to frighten Whites voters by constantly referring to Bustamante's membership in the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA) while a student at Fresno State University. The Murdoch lackeys made insinuations that Bustamante was a radical separatist and that his secret agenda was to return Alta California back to Mexico.
