Is the Beltway Sniper Targeting

People of Color?

You be the judge!

The mainstream media in the U.S.A. is reporting that the sniper shootings presently taking place in Washington D.C. and surrounding areas are totally random and that there is no pattern to the killings. La Voz de Aztlan reported previously of the possibility that the killer may be an anti-immigrant white supremacist that is targeting people of color like Richard Scott Baumhammers did in Pittsburgh in 2000 and James Oliver Huberty did in San Ysidro in 1984. The latest killing of a Black activist, Kenneth Bridges, last Friday provides more weight to the proposition that people of color are actually being "hunted down" in the nation's capital and surrounding areas by a lunatic racist marksman that may have had a former military or police connection.

There have now been a total of ten shootings that have hit their targets. Of these, eight have died from a single shot injury. Two have survived after being hit, one an unidentified woman and another a Black thirteen year old student who was shot just before entering a predominate Black school.

La Voz de Aztlan believes that there is an anti-immigrant killer or killers on the loose "hunting" immigrants of color as was recently proposed by Arizona vigilantes along the U.S./Mexico border. Groups tied to these anti-immigrant vigilantes have had meetings in the same areas where the sniper shootings have taken place. Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol met in Suffolk County with the racist white supremacist group Sachem Quality of Life Organization after its leader Margaret Bianculli-Dyber was arrested by the police and after two Mexican immigrant day laborers were severely beaten by two of their members.

American Border Patrol, Sachem Quality of Life Organization and the Arizona vigilantes have targeted both Latino and Black immigrants from Haiti and the Dominican Republic. One of the slain victims of the sniper, Pascal Charlot, was a Black immigrant from Haiti. Another of the slain victims was Sara Ramos, an immigrant from El Salvador and another, Kumar Walekar, was an immigrant from Bombay, India.

Are immigrants of color being targeted by the so called "Beltway Sniper"? We have collected the pictures of all the eight victims that have been killed so far. Below are their pictures with a short commentary. Remember that the sniper was looking down a rifle scope from about 100 yards, when he took the shot. You be the judge!
