LA VOZ DE AZTLAN
Week in Review
March 11 - 15, 2002
The following is a summary of the week's significant news with commentaries by La Voz de Aztlan. The week's happenings around the world and specially in the Middle East, Mexico and the United States makes us wonder if we are not on the verge of a major global catastrophe. The threats of George W. Bush to use "atomic bombs" against certain countries in combination with major moral scandals in the Catholic Church are extremely worrisome because these events and others are exactly what religious prophets of ancient times said would occur just before the end of civilization as it is presently constituted.
I. THE MIDDLE EAST
The war of the "West against Islam" continues unabated. This one conflict has the potential of turning into the much awaited "War of Armageddon". The situation in Palestine and the onslaught of civilians by the Zionist army has taken a bizarre twist. The Prime Minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon, and his murderous army are now committing atrocities against the Palestinians that identically parallel what the Nazis did to the Jews during their so call holocaust. This includes going into the homes of Palestinians and dragging out and imprisoning military age men and tattooing their wrists with numbers and other identifying marks as the Nazis did during "Kristallnight". There was also a number of horrific pictures that came out of Palestine this past week. One showed two Israeli soldiers taking a "souvenir picture" while standing over a Palestinian they had just killed. This is reminiscent of when U.S. southern Whites would take "souvenir pictures" while standing over or besides Black slaves they had just lynched.
II. THE MORAL CHAOS IN THE VATICAN AND THE U.S. CATHOLIC CHURCH
The Vatican and Catholic Church are presently facing a crisis of major proportions. It almost seems like Satan himself is loose inside the halls of the Vatican. More and more cases of homosexual pedophile rapes of altar boys by priests are cropping up all over the United States and the Vatican can no longer keep it under the rug.
Now it appears that the problem is not just with priests but with Bishops and possibly even with Cardinals as well. One Bishop in Florida has already confessed to the homosexual molestation of an underage boy.
The scandal is bleeding the Vatican dry of funds in two ways. One is through the billions of dollars they are having to pay as settlements to the victims and the other is that Catholics are now less willing to make donations to the church.
Another scandal in the Vatican is just barely rearing its ugly head. This one involves the Catholic Church's possible collusion with Cocaine drug traffickers. This week a U.S Congressional Panel released a report implicating Cardinal Roger Mahoney of Los Angeles with lobbying for the pardoning by Bill Clinton of the notorious crack cocaine dealer Carlos Vignali.
In addition, with last week's arrest of Mexico's "Super Narcotraficante " Benjamin Arrellano Felix, the question of whether Papal nuncio Girolamo Prigione had anything to do with the assassination of Cardinal Juan Jesus Posadas Ocampo of Guadalajara has been raised again. Cardinal Ocampo was gunned down on May 24, 1993 at the Guadalajara's Miguel Hidalgo International Airport by the Arellano Felix brothers of Tijuana, Mexico. Around New Year 1994 the brothers held a secret meeting with Papal nuncio Girolamo Prigione at his home in Mexico City. Prigione, a conservative who is said to have had strained relations with Posadas, was arriving in Guadalajara the night the Cardinal was murdered; Posadas was in fact at the airport to meet the nuncio. Prigione had been the Vatican ambassador for 17 years and repeatedly attacked proponents of Liberation Theology which included Samuel Ruiz Garcia, Bishop of San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas and Cardinal Juan Jesus Posadas Ocampo of Guadalajara. Benjamin and Javier Arellano Felix, brothers from a family that ran the Tijuana drug cartel, led the hit squad that assassinated the Cardinal. Posadas had previously been Tijuana's bishop.
III. LA RAZA, THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AND THE JEWS
The past week proved disastrous for the struggle of Mexican-Americans and other Latinos that seeks equity in California's institutions of higher education. A coalition of Latino groups traveled from Riverside County to the UC Board of Regents in San Francisco to make the case for the appointment of Dr. Manuela Sosa as a UC Regent. Instead, Governor Davis appointed the husband of Jewish U.S Senator Diane Feinstein, Richard Blum. Mr. Blum is a super rich Jewish mogul that has provided millions to politicians that includes Davis.
This is not all, on February 1, just a few days ago, Governor Davis also appointed Israeli born Zionist Haim Saban as a UC Regent. Mr. Saban is also a multi-million dollar contributor to politicians.
We have since learned from an article in the Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles titled "The First Jewish Governor" that Davis wants to be president of the U.S. The article outlines how Davis was created by the Jewish community and how they first got him elected, through huge donations, to his very first office. This is almost identical to how the Jews created Tony Villar (aka Antonio Villargairoza), the ex-Speaker of the California Assembly and who lost the election for mayor of Los Angeles.
The Latino coalition is still is hoping to have a Latino Chancellor appointed for UC Riverside, but judging by how the Board of Regents is now stacked with Jews, there is very little possibility that this will ever happen.
IV. LATINOS GROUPS SENT HOAX ANTHRAX LETTERS
La Voz de Aztlan is glad that we are now not the only Mexican-American group to have been sent hate U.S. mail with a suspicious powder. The San Jose Mercury News, La Opinion and the San Francisco Chronicle reported this week that MALDEF, NALEO, LULAC, NCLR, ASPIRA and other minor groups all received letters with a "white powder" and with hateful racist statements that used words like "wetbacks", "spics" and other similar phrases. The FBI is investigating and initial tests have indicated that the powder is not anthrax. That must be a big relief for the groups targeted. We are still waiting for a Hazmat Unit to arrive to pick up our letter and envelope for testing. We have the letter and envelope in a double zip-lock plastic bag.
V. WEIRD COURT CASES UNDERWAY IN THE USA
We recently reported on some bizarre court cases taking place in various parts of America. The case of the "Killer Mom" Andrea Yates has just concluded. She was found guilty of drowning all of her 5 children and was sentenced to a life term without parole.
The case of the "Demonic Dog" in Los Angeles is still in progress. It turns out that the two defendants are actually Jewish attorneys. Court testimony revealed that Marjorie Knoller had frequent sex with the "Demonic Dog" that killed the lesbian victim. The prosecution produced a photograph that her adopted son, inmate Paul "Cornfed" Schneider, had on the wall of his cell. It showed her nude and copulating with the dog.
The case of the 7 year old girl that was taken from her bedroom in north San Diego has also taken a weird turn. Her body was found and a neighbor was charged with the murder. As you may recollect, we reported that the mom was at a bar until 2:00 in the morning the day the the child disappeared from her upstairs bedroom. The murdered child's father remain at home with an unknown female companion. The mom had said that she and two female companions had met two friends and that all five had come back to her home for some pizza. In the preliminary hearing that just concluded, the mom confessed that she and the others smoked a little marijuana and had been drinking. It turns out that the friends they picked up at the bar were two males and they all had partied "a little" at the home.
Police sources have revealed that the mom and dad where into the "swinger's lifestyle". The three females and the two males who were at the home have not been identified. What all seven adults did at 2:30 in the morning while the 7 year old girl was supposedly upstairs in her bedroom would only be conjecture. Was marijuana and alcohol the only drug consumed? At this point only the neighbor is being charged for the murder of the child, but judging from what came out of the preliminary hearing, perhaps their should be charges against some or all the adults that were partying that morning at the home as well.
Also, it appears mighty peculiar to La Voz de Aztlan, that none of the three females or the two males have been identified by the police. Are they protecting some influential members of the San Diego community?
